Houseworming seamlessly integrates composting and furniture by housing a worm bin within. The canvas and wood Wormhopper effortlessly fits into furniture, enabling efficient, easily accessible at-home composting. This project is executed in cooperation with Guardians of the Soil, a local Vancouver company, as their inaugural consumer product. It is crafted entirely from natural compostable materials ensuring that when it's lifecycle ends, Houseworming returns to the earth easily, leaving no trace behind. This is being designed through a lens of manufacturing for production incorporating textiles, CNC and CAD.
